Clear Print is designed to enable all readers to access information easily. A clearly designed, jargon-free and easy to read document will convey essential information to everyone who reads it. This can also convey a positive view of the originating individual or organisation.

We use:

• Redesign of graphs, tables, charts and forms
• Clear, crisp and precise text
• No 'show through'
• Use of suitable paper size and weight

Easy Read

Easy Read is a format that uses pictures and simple text to enable the document to be easily understood by people with learning disabilities, low literacy, or people whose first language is not English. XL Braille uses staff with experience of producing Easy Read documents and liaises with a user group for consultation and feedback on all Easy Read documents.
